This is a pilonidal cyst. It requires surgery to remove. Can get infected. See a doctor ASAP. I had one for 2 years and it started bleeding out before a doctor realized what it was. Very painful.

Thank you for your solution to this problem. I'm going to try it out. Questions: Is this treatment applied after showering? or is not not needed twice a day? I have the same condition. One doctor sent me to do blood test it cam back positive for type 1 & 2 herpes . Another doctor told me it is not herpes as that has little bumps clusters, I don't know what to believe.

Hey hey I have the same problem. It's usually caused due to sweat. I had a very long session about this with a doctor and she said it might be genetic or because of sweat. So basically keep it dry as much as you can. I know it hurts, it itches, it pains, but remember one thing this can't be cured by any medicines. No medicines can heal this. Only plastic surgery can help you get out of this. Medicines gives you temporary relief. So go to a doctor who can guide you about how to go with a surgery and deal with it. You can also apply aloe Vera gel, can give u some relief.

Please don’t do that until you’ve seen a doctor. Those soaps can do a lot more harm than good in that area. There are a lot of clinics that will see you for free. It’s generally an easy fix, but if use these things before you know for sure you could end up with serious issues that aren’t easy to fix.

It is because you are using rough cheap tissues I also had this problem while using Makro's cheap tissues when I switched to more expensive and soft tissues the problem disappeared
