I don't have the split too far down into the butt Crack. Hahaha! I am not laughing at any of you because if l ANYONE is in the pain I am, IT'S HORRIFIC! But admit it! Trying to explain this in word's comes out so damn funny no matter how hard you try to sound serious! This hurts so much! Can this honestly just be a yeast Crack in the butt? !hahaha!

I was told by the gp that the most important thing to do is keep the area clean and dry so if using a towel is too painful then using a blow dryer on cool to dry the area is acceptable so by drying your so called 'arse' with a blow dryer it actually helps!! Also the gp said its like having itchy skin between the toes dry throughly and apply telc to prevent itching as bacteria loves to grow in dark wet warm places like you 'arse' so by drying it with a blow dryer your keeping it dry which stops bacterial infections growing!! Clearly this person that has made this comment does not have a clue they can't even spell 'ass'!!

Maybe you've already addressed this issue. But I had the exact thing off and on for a couple of years. Finally went to the doctor. She has me applying an a prescription anti-fungal ketoconazole cream twice a day. I have to use it for a month to completely kill the fungus. The fungus is what caused the fissure in the butt crack. If you stop using the cream it just comes back, so must do it for a month.

Antibacterial lotion would make a yeast infection worse.

I had this issue for many years and I am 3 weeks into a No gluten, no dairy, no alcohol and no sugar diet and the issue has completely gone away. I feel like definitely a yeast overgrowth problem starting in the gut and affects the skin, especially the moist areas.

I get it only when I eat bread or pasta. I believe it's part of Celiac disease. If I take a benedryl before bed and put neosporin on, it goes away in a day or two. It'll flare up again even from putting gravy on roast beef. My stomach also boats during flare ups.

I get it every once in a while. I think it is some kind of yeast thing! ointments I have used don't seem to work. I recently tried a Athletes foot spray . and low and behold it works! after only 2 times using it, It's gone!
