I believe this may be the answer because I have a thyroid nodule they're calling it. It's as big as a golf ball/egg and have been told it's pressing against my trachea. It makes me feel everything described here. I'm scheduled to have it removed next month I pray this provides me relief it's ruining everything. I am on my second round of antibiotics and have a sore throat. I had a fungal infection on my abdomen but that has gone away. I'm hoping the sore throat goes away as I've had it now for over 25 days. It feels like I'm swallowing glass. I'm going back to my doctor today. I'm praying this goes away soon.

I have the exact symptoms you posted in the exact same location. I went through two courses of antibiotics and it feels like small area of swelling that hurts mostly when I swallow. I was gargling with salt water 4 times a day taking zinc and C and it was getting better but when I stopped gargling it came back.

I’ve had a sore throat for 7 weeks now all the symptoms of thyroids but blood test come back 1.25 within range. Feel hot all the time but body temperature 36.2 fatigued but can’t sleep. Going to the dentist today for a check up because the MD’s testing come back all clear. I’m just sounding like I’m paranoid now. I know my body and there is something wrong but I can’t put my finger on it. I will update if they find anything.

Bit of an old thread here but I’ve had a sore throat for about 3 weeks now with no other symptoms of anything else , I got my tonsils removed when I was young so I know it isn’t tonsillitis . However the pain goes away often during the day and only hurts in the morning and night , eating and drinking helps
