I had back surgery 2 years ago for a herniated disc and I do feel better. My concern is the constant pain going down my left leg that was there prior to surgery and is still there now. I thought it was due to the stress on my siatica being pinched in my back and that after surgery it would eventually stop. It hasn't. It aches, hurts when I touch it and my biggest concern, my leg is getting smaller. I try to excersise it regularly but that only helps for the day. Any suggestions? Or is this normal? Will me leg continue to get smaller? Should I go to a nerve specialist? I do not want this to get worse.
