Seriously guys i think you should not spend any money on treadmills, bicycles and those "lose 20 pounds in just 4 weeks " type of stuff they sell on tv. None of this stuff runs on itself. Its all you buddy. Its all in your head. You have to make decision and stick to it. Make a plan. Set a goal. But be realistic. Your goals can be : "I will lose 30 pounds in next 6 months" or " I will gain 20 pounds in 4 months". Don't say "I want" but say "I will". If you really want you will always find a way to get to your goal .

Hey man, Thanks for the post. I guess you are right. So far i have spent close to $2000 on stuff from tv that promised me fast results in short time. With no results whatsoever. I am so desperate. I would do anything. I guess i just have to take it slowly and be patient. I have to set a goal in my head and stick to it. Do you have any more advises on what should i do and for how long? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, i see you pain. Hmmm, I don't know how old are you and how you weigh but here a couple of suggestions. First, have a diary. Yes, a diary of your workout. You can create one in Excel or write it down in a notebook if you prefer. It is really important to track your results. So make sure that you write down how long have you been working out and how do you feel about it. Second, have a workout plan. Create a weekly workout plan. And stick to it. Note that you can always update your plan. Don't set it to be very optimistic but rather take it slow at first and later as you feel it, challenge yourself.
