I am 17 and am fairly healthy, skinny guy, no drugs, don't smoke or drink, but no sports. If it helps I am Caucasian. A few weeks ago I had a vericocele operation on my left testicle because of pain and discomfort. I believe around the time it started hurting I started getting strange erections around my girlfriend, even when we just kiss(no making out, but still occurs then too) or one of us lies on top of the other( haven't had sex though). I have no desire for an erection but it still happens, and most of the time there is a small discharge. I am not aroused when this happens, and it only happens around my girlfriend. Occasionally I will get a random erection with no discharge when I am not around her but this does not concern me, I know it's normal for my age.
I have no idea what's going on and it's embarrassing, I talked to her however and she said that it seems serious and I should talk to my doctor. Before I call him up, I wanted to see what I could find out on the internet. No sites provide any insight concerning my predicament. What is going on? Will it stop and go away when my testicle heals? Is it natural for my age?

I can understand the strange random ones, but I'm concerned cause it happens a lot and I recently had surgery down there near the penis.
