Definitely just mowed some super white last night and am paying for it today - oily, orange fluid. I was freaking out until i read these posts. Thanks!

We are supposed to limit such fish consumption to less than 6 ounces...

Thank god i found this site
i was so worried i thought that my digestive tract was really screwed up or something was really wrong with my colon. It happened to me this morning and throughout the day. It was orange colored oil. how weird. I saw one of the posts here about the sushi and white tuna being the cause. i had white tuna just yesterday. but last time i had this problem(about 2 weeks ago) i did not eat any fish, at least not that i remember

I had fish on Thursday, not sure what kind but it was white. (it was a luncheon buffet so there was no sign of what type it was) Well, here it is, Saturday, and I am still having this "discharge" of this orange colored, oily stool. I was really concerned and thought I was going to die until I started reading all of these comments. Hopefully it doesn't last much longer, but wanted to know how long yours lasted?

I've found this same information on several other sites as well. I ate a large amount of orange roughy yesterday. I experienced the same effects. White fish must contain a larger amount of oil in them. I'm not sure.

For those of you who have felt fatigue while experiencing oil in your stool you should consider a consult with a doctor. Here is why:

Well, I drank coffee, which made me have to poop soon after. I had some of this yellowish oil in my stool. I realized I had been eating a ton of these crackers that are probably high in saturated fat. Could eating way too many of these do it to me?

i'm also experiencing this symptom. Did any of you go see the doctor? I ate a lot of fish before but this never happened to me until now. I think there must be somethings wrong.

ok. i'm a perfectly healthy 27 year old. i came home from work this evening, i just got off the crapper, and saw a bunch of little bunny terds, really foul smelling gas, and an orange oil slick on the top of the water. i almost pooped my pants again. i brought my wife in to show her i wasn't kidding, and she thinks i'm dying of panreatic/gallbladder/gizzard cancer now. lol. i ate a whole bag of cashews yesterday. no other changes to anything. no pain, no IBS, no nausea, etc.

the cashews did it. i blame the salted cashews.

Yep, same common cause as confirmed by the postings here. Family had a healthy amount of butter fish (a white oily, tasty fish in same family as cod). Next day wet oily farts leading to orange globules floating in the toilet bowl or worse in the underwear. Will probably take a couple of days to flush through the digestive system. 2 of us did not have the same result due to eating a lot less of the fish. Myself, oil gone after about 36 hours. One of us who ate the most still continuing but diminishing. Never happened before after eating fish; but this fish seemed especially oily because when we broiled it, could see the oil come out of the fish.

I had the orange oil too...for two days it freaked me out. I didn't have any fish in the last week or so, but I ate A LOT of "salt and pepper" flavored cashews. I'm glad someone else mentioned the cashews. It must have been all of the fat in the nuts. I'm glad that I found this site. Whew!

A 'relief' finding this post! We were just about to fly back from a week in Madeira when both my wife and I experienced these symptoms. No fun when about to embark on a long plane journey home o.O We ate lots of fish there - fish kebabs, tuna, fish soup, etc - and everything seemed to be cooked with or coated in garlic butter. Thanks to everybody for sharing...

I had a little bit of fish 3 days ago.. and then 2 days straight of BBQ ribs and brisket and pulled pork...

last night I noticed the yellow droplets and my butt felt oily when I showered. Today, wet fart prompted me to go on the throne again and found that I had yellow liquid in my underwear.. as if I s**t myself... I sure am glad that I found this site and that this will go away after a few days.

i'm experiencing this 2 years ago, it took 2 days, but i didn't look for answer. Yesterday I got again, I thought something wrong with my symptom. Here is what happen but I don't know which one caused

Thursday: I ate a bag of salty crackers
Friday: dinner had Sea Bass
Saturday: lunch, cleaned up my frig so ate the rest Sea Bass again
Saturday: 3pm, it came out when I farted. Then experienced the same orange oily stools as everyone in here (4 times).
Sunday: orange oily stools (1 time) since I drank a lot of water to flood out anything bad in my stomatch.

I really don't know if it's the crackers or sea bass at this moment but I will stay away from Sea Bass and eat less crackers from now on.

I don't feel weakness or anything except that.

Thanks for everyone description, this has helped me to have idea what's going on so I can stay away something that my body can't handle.
