Happened to me after eating Vietnamese Fried Rice with a dousing of hot chili oil (Vietnamese Fire Oil), then AGAIN after large portions of 'white tuna' a.k.a. Escolar.

Hi had the same thing as most of you happening to me yesterday (monday evening), after eating fish on sunday evening.
I was quite disturbed after seeing a yellow-orange, oily liquid in my underwear.
I have a strong urge to go to the toilet now but every time there's only this strange orange-yellow (sometimes brown) liquid.
Most important questions from my part:
1) How long did this last for most of you??
2) What's the best thing to eat to cure this? Stay away from fat? Eat rice and fruit?

I just started having orange oily droplets in my poop. This started yesterday and I had a tiny bit of Cod fish the day before, could this be the case I'm having it?And also when I fart I experience wetness in my undies all the way down to my chair! Please reply because I'm so scared.

yellowish green oil drops
Ate more raw cashews than normal this past week, had baked cod with olive oil two days ago and nothing oily yesterday.
Had stinky fart for last few days, thought it was a bad batch of soy milk and ignored it(happened before)
this morning found the oil droplets preceding my stool(yellow and fast sinking)
doctor said it is nothing to worry about, I just consumed more oil/fats than my liver and pancreas could handle. He said if he had to guess, it was the combination of cashews the week before, peanut butter sandwiches for lunch this week, and the olive oil 2 days ago. It’ll clear on its own, sleep more and drink hot tea for the next few days to help it clear faster. He said I need to eat more fiber since my stool is sinking instead of floating(not eating enough salads since it is winter). He said to reduce the processed carbs(pasta, bread, crackers, potato chips, instant mashed potato, etc) and eat more unprocessed carbs(grains, baked potatoes) till my stool is brown again.

This morning I farted and when I did it felt kind of, well.....gross, so I went to the bathroom to make sure I didn't make a mess, when I wiped myself this clear shiny residue appeared on the tissue, I immediately noticed that it smelled like fish oil and NOTHING else. I have been taking fish oil supplements for about 8 months but this has never happened, My concern is why now? My diet has not changed and I am wondering what my body is signalling.

I had this same thing happen to me, now twice the same month. I don't remember what I ate the first time. But this second time I had fasted yesterday and still took fish oil. So I am assuming that it was having the fish oil. I am glad that I found this site. I read another site and they said how it was fish and cashews being the culprit. But I looked it up and it is anytime there is fat that your body can't process, so you poop it out. I am glad that it isn't serious. I thought that maybe something was wrong with my gall bladder. I did some research as well, and bodies don't absorb fat when there is either a lot of sugars with it, carbs, or bad fats, like trans. So for those who are vegetarians or other diets also may be from the body not processing bad fats and not eating enough good fats at the same time, like olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, eggs, and other good fats.

Butter Fish, Sea Bass, Rock Cod, Angel Fish, Sunflower Seeds, Mango Atchar, Fish Liver Oil vitamins. These are all things that causes the orange oil. It is a natural occurence from these types of unsaturated fats not to be taken up by the digestive system. But butterfish is so damn nice, I just push the brakes on farting for 3 days after eating it. Haha
