Hello,
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now. Last month, on October 23rd, I had a miscarriage at about 5 weeks along. I had the miscarriage naturally, no D&C, and bled for 7 days. (sorry if TMI) We began trying again 10 days from the miscarriage. Now, for the past week or two, I have been feeling pregnant again, except the symptoms feel much stronger this time. I have had VERY swollen and sore nipples and breasts, I've been hungry more than ever(feeling empty and stomache growling about 20 mins after eating), my stomach has been feeling bloated and crampy, my stomach also feels "bubbly", I've been having headaches, backaches, and I've been feeling really moody...almost crazy moody. I even cried when I was watching Kitchen Nightmares...who does that? Anyways my question is, could I have gotten pregnant so soon after a miscarriage? I know these sound like PMS symptoms, but they came so soon before my period was even due. If anyone can share some advise or personal experience I would really appreciate it! Thank you! :-)

Well, to put it bluntly, there are two possible reasons you're so focused on these symptoms you're having now:

1. You really, really want to be pregnant again, and you're engaging in wishful thinking.

2. Although all these symptoms can, as you said, be PMS symptoms, you're mentioning them and thinking about them because they do not feel like PMS symptoms normally feel like to YOU. They do, also, sound like early symptoms of being pregnant, It is possible to get pregnant pretty soon after a miscarriage, especially an early miscarriage. You CAN ovulate as soon as two weeks after.
