Hello,
I have been taking suboxone for about 6 months unconventionally. Doc prescribes 16 tabs a week (i go every week on thursdays) and when I get them I take 8 of them the 1st day (8mg's each) & 8 the second day (i know bout the ceiling effect but im an addict) and then I don't have any for 5 days. Then I have my doc appt & the cycle starts again. I want to stop the sub completely. My question is this: will i have w/d symptoms? I'm not sure cause I take a 5 day break between dosses and when i do get my next dose I do get a buzz. Any help would be appreciated.

It's interesting that you don't seem to have symptoms for those 5 days when you are off it.
Anyhow, suboxone is a combination of 2 drugs. So the buzz is from the buprenorphine which also gives you pain relief. The naltrexone should reduce or block the cravings. So You are asking when the withdrawal would kick in, even though it has not done so after 5 days?
My guess is that the long half life of both drugs will keep you from feeling much of a withdrawal -
if you have not already felt much of one.
