:$ i was getting a tan but i dont think and i get sunburn very bad that its hurts to walk and i am 17 to 18 weeks pregnant is this bad for the baby. did i do something to hurt the baby

You should be so so carful being pregnant and sunbathing. The heat from the sun will raise your core temperature and the baby's as well. Also, a pregnant women has more of a blood flow and you have to watch for dehydration.
Also be careful of spray on tans or rub on tans when your pregnant as well. The formula that is used can penetrate the skin and end up in your blood stream which mean your baby will get it via the placenta.
Now your stuck with a mean sunburn that will take days to tan then probably peel off anyway. For now, sit in tepid tub water, stay away from soaps in the burned area and apply cool compresses. When you go for your baby check, mention this to your ObGyn.
