So from November through March I was on Yasmin as a low dose birthcontrol pill. I kept spotting the whole 5 months I was on it, My doc did blood tests to rule out pregnancy then switched me to Nuva Ring this month. She said I would be fine to have unprotected sex since I had been on a consistent pill regimine for 5 months previous. So assuming things would be ok I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend several times as we usually did. I started spotting about 1 week before my period was supposed to start and just took my Nuva Ring out as directed today (after 21 days) and the spotting hasn't stopped. I'm waiting to see if the spotting stops or if it becomes a heavier flow. Earlier in the month after switching methods, I felt like I was ovulating (for me, a sharp pain on my right side), and about 5 days later, another sharp pain (possible implantation?) Could I be pregnant? I looked at the dosages for both yasmin and the Nuva Ring ( Yasmine is a higher dose, and Nuva Ring is a lower dose) Could I have ovulated while my body was trying to adjust to the new hormone?
Swiched birth control hormones!! Possibly pregnant?
