A week ago I found out that I had tonsil stones. I had them removed but my right tonsil is still a tad bit swollen. Yesterday I bleached my roots and a few hours later i noticed I had a few painful lumps in the back of my neck (I'm assuming they're lymph nodes) I thought maybe I was having a reaction to the chemicals. In the middle of the night last night I woke up with an annoying clicking and grinding sensation in my throat when I swallow. it doesn't do it when I have my neck stretched out but any other position my head is in it clicks or grinds.  Has anyone else experienced this? And do you think the glands and the popping could be  associated?

I'm a 22 year old healthy female.
