I am confused as I had sex with my wife last night and woke up this morning with a swollen upper lip that has tripled in size and appears to be getting bigger. I have been unable to find anything online that may give some direction. Has anyone ever experienced this or may know why this could have happened? She did tell me that she douched during her shower last night, could that has been a cause, or is there something else?

Your not alone...when my husband and i get down to some serious carpet munching, his lip gets fat and swollen too. It's from the friction. There is nothing wrong with her or you. Don't worry, munch on ;-)

The same thing happened to me and my husband last week and we still are not able to find out the issue. Doctor said could be possibly an allergy to soap or perfume I may have used.

It happens to my boyfriend too. It's normal. Just put some ice on your upper lip for 20 min on and 10 min off. Repeat until your lip is back to normal. You'll be just fine!:-|

It isn't an STD or anything major. Like many of the other respondents said, it's just friction or pressure due to vigorous activity. Upper lips rubs against the upper incisors and can rub it raw. It will go down over a day or two, and you'll be fine. Don't let that stop you. Just ease up while it heals and then get back to it.

It’s been happening to me for about 10 years. Just about every time I give my husband oral
sex, my lips, and face swells up horribly. I’ve been told it could be that I am allergic to soap, cologne or something he uses. I have to take Benadryl, and after a day or more, my face finally goes down. It’s aggravating and frustrating too. I don’t know what else to do. That’s the only way to get him aroused. My top lip usually gets swollen after a good sloppy..because of covering my teeth... Even sometimes throat..never any complaints
