My wife has been on a chemo for some time. Lately she started complaining about swollen stomach and she vomits a lot. I guess that this is her body’s reaction to the treatment. Should she ask for some drugs against nausea and vomiting?

I know how unpleasant nausea is. Unfortunately, chemotherapy can cause swollen stomach and vomiting. There are some drugs that her doctor can prescribe her and which are associated with chemotherapy. They are called anti-nausea and anti-emetics and they can be given in a different ways (under tongue, patch, rectally. If she vomits a lot she should decrease her meals as much as she can and pay good attention to what she eats.
