3 days ago i started gettin a sore throat and last night i noticed a blister type thing on my tonsil but only one of my tonsils hurt and only 1 is swollen and thats the on wit the blister.so if anybody could give me some information.

I went to the doctors 2 days ago as i suspected i have tintilitus. He told me i have a blister/ulcer on my tonsil and has issued me woth some antibiotics. Its really painfull and it hurts when i swallow

Can you give me more information of the blister on your tonsil? Have you noticed any color chances of the blister? Is it red or white? There is a chance that this is caused by an infection but also in some cases people confuse blisters with tonsil stones. If this is just an infection you can try to use some antibiotics to get rid of the infection, but if this is a tonsil stone then you will need to be patient because tonsil stones don’t go away that easy. In many cases there is a need for surgery to get rid of tonsil stones. Can you feel if the blister if firm and hard?
