The pain you feel in your testicle can be caused by infection, inflammation, or even by minor injury (bicycle riding). The testicles sit inside the scrotum and are very sensitive so any pain you feel should be examined. The infections that might occur are epididymitis and orchitis, but from what you wrote it might be swelling and inflammation of the testis and the tube around it. This condition is called epididymo-orchitis. I think it’s necessary to get your urine tested so in case the infection is caused by bacteria, you could start taking antibiotics immediately. Meanwhile, I advise you to take warm baths if there are signs of inflammation, also you could apply ice to the scrotum or place a rolled towel under it. I think this might help.

The pain the you're experiencing could be a testicular infection. maybe epidydmitis or prostatitis. The two diseases are so closely linked that sometimes it is hard to distinguish them. You should see a physician for a diagnosis in which he or she would prescribe some antibiotics such as ciprofloxin or leviquin for about two weeks. I was diagnosed with one or the other and the Dr. specically rcommended that i cut back on my caffine intake due to the fact that caffine (especially coffee) stimulates to prostate gland. You should really consider the amount of caffine you consume.

When I feel pain down there I like to rub my nutsack for a while...the apply direct pressure to my penis head and think about hot chicks at work. After a very short period of time I am able to momentarily escape the clutches of testicle pain and release the evil toxins. Then later, it hurts again and I'm racked with feelings of guilt.
