Definitely a tough situation – a guy you like and you practically have to fear of having sex with him! Especially because you two shouldn’t really have any major issues when it comes to sex. Have you told him how it was for you after that “rug burn” sex? How did he react? Obviously the problem is not on your side, it’s the ring. Smaller one would definitely cause less friction. It really shouldn’t be that big of a problem for him to change it – if he can have sex after recently putting it in then he definitely can change to smaller ring, at least I think that’s not all that much to do for you to be able to enjoy in sex with him.
