On the 9th August I went to the Drs and was put on antibiotics for what I was told was a Sinus infection. On the 18th I went back as I was vomiting from the coughing. This time I was told I had a throat infection and was put on a different antibiotic Augmentin Duo Forte. On the 28th I was given another script for Augmentin. I woke up early hours on the 11th Sept struggling to breath, I was all blocked up and kept coughing and blowing my nose to unblock it. After throwing up a heap of mucus and discharging a large amount of brown gooey stuff from my nose I was much better. I went back to the drs on the 13th September and was told it was still just a throat infection and put on bactrim ds this time with 1 repeat.
I can't take much more of this. For 6 weeks I have been coughing constantly bringing up yellowy/green mucus. Sometimes coughing so badly I bring up what I have eaten. The upper part of my chest get's wheezy but only the very very top near the base of my neck. I can't sleep well because as soon as I lay down I start coughing and feel like I'm choking. I don't know what else to do. My throat isn't sore, it's more of a itchy/tingly feeling. My glands are swollen and sore. and right now my nose is blocked up again.
Any advice would be great.

did they ever figure out what the problem was cuz i have been having the same problem. just finished a pack of zithromax to no avail.
