Endo doesn't make you infertile for life. It just means your reproductive tubes are blocked with your own tissue and you need them cleared. It's not like chlamydia which might cause permanent infertility.

Im 20 years old and i started my period at the age of 11. Everything was fine until i turned 18, I would get horrible crapms and was a time where the pain got so bad that I felt weak, sweaty, hot, lack of air in my lungs. At around 12:30am I woke up with horrible cramps to a point where I nearly passed out, i was screaming for help and my mum had to call for an ambulance. They told me that they didn't quiet understand what had started it.

2 yeas later i decided enough was enough! Went to go see a doctor. The first doctor told me that there was nothing to worry about, second doctor told me that i was experiencing mild-like labour pains. So she prescribed me with Microgynon 30 birth control pills and told me it would regulate my period and reduce the pain.

10 months later I have not yet had another panic attack but before i come on my period I throw up, feel shaken, cold feeling and my body aches like mad. I don't understand what to do anymore i just want to know what's wrong with me!

I have the same problem but mine started recently. I started my period when I was 13 and at first it was normal and I didn't even have cramps. Later on I started experiencing light cramps and a little bit of discomfort but I could still function but as of a few months ago. Whenever I have my period on either the first day or the second one I have severe back pain and abdominal cramps that I literally want to pull my hair out. I roll on my bed up to a point im reduced to tears and all I can do is pray. I spend almost an hour in the loo vomiting and diarrhearing at the same time. I get really weak and feel like im gonna black out any second and can barely stand upright. Then comes tge hot flashes and the chills. It sucks big time. Haven't been to the doctor yet though

My period is EXACTLY the same. I started my period when I was 11 then around 13 was the first time I experienced these horrible cramps on only the first day of period. I remember leaving middle an hour into the day every period until I finally just stopped going to school on the first day of my period all together. If I don't take pills the moment I realize I started my period at least 4-6 extra strength tylonal (I know that's a lot) liquid gels I could be throwing up for 12 hours straight and not be able to keep them down later. I'm 21 now and my periods still the same I've just learned to keep track of my period and take pain pills the moment I start.

I got my first period are 12.
I never had any real "problems" until I was 15.
I had been keeping track of my period on a calendar so I would hopefully know when it would start.
I never got "pms", as I understood it to be, such as moodiness or bloating.
The first day of my period though, in the morning, was terrible.
I'd get up very early fir school (usually before 6) and if there were any red "trace" that it was going to start today, I knew I was in trouble.
I would take several nsaid (ex ibuprofin) pills and get ready.
For me, it started like this: pain, first only a little but increasing steadily over the next couple hours until it was so bad I literally begged god to just let me die (and I wasn't overdramatic or suicidal), increasing temperature, like a fever, that peaked when I was so hot I was red and covered in sweat. Headache, from mild to excruciating, dizziness, light headdedness and low blood pressure that would sometimes get so bad that I would pass out. Diahhrea nausea and often vomiting. Those were all part of the initial "hot" stage that could last 1 - 4 hours. It felt like I was dying. Then suddenly, the fever would break, almost all of those other symptoms would go away and I'd have shaking and the chills so bad, I'd have to bundle up in almost allthe clothes I had and lay in bed freezing. That was annoying, but I was grateful for this stage because it meant everything was almost over for the month. When I warmed up, I was tired but absolutely fine until my first day the next month.
And keeping the calendar never worked. All I knew was when it might start within about 4 days either way. That was not accurate enough.

As a follow up to my post,
So, this was rather incapacitating and I would miss a lot of school (twice this started when was already at school and that was even worse!)
As I got older, the problem did not get better.
I just started to miss days not at high school, but college and then university.
I had a part time job and sometimes I would miss work.
By now I was 22.
I had not been to the doctors about this because I thought this was something everyone went through (although maybe mine was a bit worse than average) and I didn't want to be told that, after suffering the embarrassment of having to describe the symptoms and probably have a pap test.
I was mortified by the thought of that!
I could control the symptoms quite a bit by now.
If I KNEW today was the day, then I would jump in a freezing cold shower (ice cold) and stand there until the chills started (and therefore skipped most of the "hot"phase with all the pain and puking and pooping and passing out). Then I'd just deal with being cold.
It was a lot better this way, but not perfect.
By 22, I ended up going to the doctor. I told my story. I was only prescribed pain pills. I was told to take them before I had any pain (but how did I know that)
They didn't work anyway.
2 years later I went back and asked for birth control pills, because I'd been suffering every month for 9 years and I heard they really helped.
My doctor wouldn't give them to me.
So I went to a walk in clinic and told them I needed a birth control pills prescription because I was planning to on becoming sexually active (I wasn't ) and they gave me 2 months worth but I'd have to go to my doctors for a pelvic exam and for ayears worth of prescription.
So I did.
My doctor had no choice now and I went on the pill.
Best thing I ever did!!
Within about 2 months, my period was like NOTHING!
I knew exactly what day it would start and now I had almost no pain or other problems at all!
Nothing!!!
All I had to do was have a pap test once a year, and then that was over.
I was on the pill for 11 years with no problems.
But about 2 years ago, the old problems started coming back.
Period didn't start when kt was supposed to, pain, stuff like that.
I decided to go off the pills.
I was thinking, I'd better, if I ever wanted to have a child someday
It's been2 years now...no child and periods right back to the point when I was 15.
Incredible pain, headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue....
So I don't know what to say, except I've come full circle.

I feel faint and dizzy and sometimes have that drooly feeling in my throat that I'm going to vomit.. I'm crying as I type this because it's the first day of my period and I'm skipping school, the posts above make me feel helpless and lost.. Please.. Help..3

I've had the same thing, more people get heavy periods than you think. I for one don't wait for the pains, shaking or vomitting, I try to drug myself up as soon as possible, usually Aleve or Advil, helps numb the pain and as nauseous as I may get afterwards I never vomit as long as I take pain reliever

Dysmenorrhea Symptoms

Dysmenorrhea often includes one or more of such symptoms as mild to severe cramping in the lower abdomen, backache pain and pulling on the inside of the thighs, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, fainting, or headache. If you are like most women who suffer from dysmenorrhea, the symptoms are usually more severe on the first day of flow. They probably decrease as your period continues, and in most cases last no more than 12-16 hours. However, some women experience discomfort from the beginning to the end of the menstrual flow, which may be for as long as 5-6 days.

I have the same thing. I got really sick. But only when I actually see the blood most of the time witch is weird. But this has been happening to me for about two or three years now... It's horrible I get extremely sick and throw up. And I only get better if I sleep forever. .. It's the worst pain I've ever had and it's still happening to me.

I'm 20 now but still have this issue. The only solution I found was a birth control that gave me my period once every three months. The symptoms stopped coming once I was on the pills. You should consult your OBGYN.

Hey, I've also had this problem. I find that it happens only when I'm hungry and about to start my period. So I always try and have snacks and Gatorade on hand and an ibuprophen. As soon as I feel the cramps coming I take an ibuprophen and make sure I've got something in my stomach. Ibuprophen can be rough on the stomach by itself in any case not just during cramps. If you do throw up drinking water won't help. Gatorade or something with electrolytes will be better. It sucks I know. Hope this helps!
