I've had the same feeling recently. I think mostly its from the food i ate but previously when i didnt have that symptom my throat feels very dry and severe pain every late night. Its been going on after i had a cough sickness. Could any one help me to explain why? I would be very thankful.

I have the same feeling I think, almost feels like I could have a hole in my esophagus. Which I have tosay is very scary. Could that be possible or even plausible? ??

I get this when I feel sick, but have recently been getting it without other symptoms. I haven't been drinking, smoking, etc. and I'm not pregnant. I also haven't eaten mints, so I am very curious as to why it happens.

For anyone reading this I had a terrible version and i really felt like killing my self for a couple days. I have a potential fix. First I tried eating gum sweetened with a cirtain ingredient and it worked enough to stop me from punching a wall. Then I had gaviscon which didn't do sh*t. Then I tried eating an assortment of foods and had some strawberrys and instantly felt better and I mean like completely normal, the weirdest thing I swear. So if strawberrys don't work (lol) chew some orbit winter mint gum and it at least calms it While your chewing it. If that doesn't work just try everying until I you feel better.

I have the same thing happen to me, but it's only after I drink something cold. But the cold sensation lingers for a really long time afterwards (up to several hours) after I finish the drink. It's very strange. It never used to happen until this year.

Ummm, i just wanted to add I did move to a lot drier climate (Colorado) versus Kansas. Wonder if it has to do with dryness??? Just a thought.

I had the same feeling 15 years ago. The doctor took it seriously, saying it was a sign of a certain type of non-serious epilepsy.Took medication for 5 years before it passed.

In have had this for a few days! It start shout cold and minty in my throat and moth and my ears almost feel warm. Very creepy! But I think I might know the answer! I've noticed it after I brush my teeth. It lasts for a couple hrs each time. It's almost like the toothpaste left a film in my throat. This use to never happen. But now it's everyday and i thought about everything I did on that last hour and the day before And I realized I had brushed. At least I hope that's all it is because it's very strange feeling and I hope there's nothing else wrong. In also have panic disorder so each time I would feel this I would also start to feel scared and tingley.

This really helped, I couldn't figure out why this was happening, but lastnight I had a really bad episode of acid reflux(im pregnant) and this started shortly after. Im definitely going to take your advice. thank you soo much

Iget this feeling when I skip a meal or when I get hungry. I feel like its because my stomach makes the acid when I normally eat and when I don't eat the acid comes up to my throat.

I have had this sensation for a couple of years on and off. At first I thought it was my diabetes. No one seems to be able to figure it out. So I live with it. Fortunately it's not painful. Good luck hope someone finds an answer.
