I'm a 24 year-old virgin female, who has never had ANY sexual contact other than a little kissing; I don't even masturbate! A few days ago I've noticed some redness and itching around my inner labia and a minor burning sensation when urinating. Today I woke up with the itching worse, and when I went to urinate it was very painful - probably a 7 or a 8/10. Using a mirror, it looked like I have a two very small sores on my labia that look like canker sores - just small round spots, very slightly raised, missing the top layer of skin. I haven't noticed any unusual discharge. I'm a little worried it might be herpes, but considering that I haven't even kissed anyone in over a year I'm wondering how possible that is.
I don't have insurance, so hopefully this is benign and I just should wait it out, but if need be I'll bite the bullet and go to a Planned Parenthood and pay money I just can't spare...

Hi - Just my two cents: I'd get it checked out. Painful urination hurts like hell and can be symptomatic of other things. Planned Parenthood has a good sliding scale to help reduce costs if you don't have the $$. I hope you feel better soon!
