The tip of my nose is swollen red and sore and since this morning little swollen too.
I don’t believe it is from blowing it because I don’t do that that much. I t looks like an allergy to me or some inflammation, but I can think of any possible cause. What could it be? Did anyone ever have this problem?

It sounds to me like you might have roseacia. If you are a male it affects the nose where it will swell and be tender to the touch and turn red and each episode it will probably be bigger and redder if it isn't treated with a special cream for roseacia. I am female and have it on my face too. I use metrogel to clear it up, but you can use also a pill tetracycline if it won't clear up with the cream it will go away and come back more frequently until it is there all the time without treatment. This is just my opinion, but you better ask for doctor’s opinion.

I rarely do this technique. However, you are correct, you can actually raise the tip of the nose a bit even when you don't smile. It lasts about 2 months in many cases and I think it is unpredictable and a waste. It can also spread to the upper lip and drop the lip a tiny bit and also can affect the nostrils by slightly splaying them at times as well. hope that is clear.
