Hello! I am someone who knows someone who lives with a person with an eating disorder. I would like to help. I know there is no substitute for professional help but I know that there are many things a family can do. Also, I know that persons who suffer form eating disorder can do many practical things at their home to help themselves. Are there any helpful tips for eating disorder?

Hello! Eating disorders that go on for many months are always investigated by qualified health professionals. Of course there are things people who suffer from eating disorders can do to help themselves. Some of them are: eat regular meals, eat meals with family or friends, eat healthy foods, avoid weighing yourself and looking in the mirror, keep a food diary, take regular exercise and be patient.
