It is going to take sometime for such a sensitive area to heal! What I suggest is keeping the area moist with the cream! And cleansing it daily and try to air dry as much as possible! Do NOT have sex even masturbate, till this is healed OK? Then after just take it nice and easy! After you are healed you might just need to lubricate the area with olive oil and learn to bring back the foreskin normally! Because I hazzard a guess that your foreskin wasn't pulled back to a regular point before - thus the tearing! So just take it easy OK? Good luck and healht! And congratulations on your wedding!

My guess is the "skin joint" you're talking about is your frenulum. It's like the one you can see under your tongue in a mirror.
When I was first married mine tore several times until it was long enough so the foreskin could go back all the way during sex without tearing it. The first time it tore I just let it heal by itself. Then I discovered it was just as short as before. After that I wrapped it to keep the ends from going back together as it healed. It tore about 4 or 5 times until it was long enough.
