You may have Lupus. I had to do a report on this disease and you seem to be dealing with a lot of the symptoms. You should look it up and ask your doctor about it.

I am an 18 year old girl and I have the same symptoms. I think its pregnancy, but i am not sure. All i know is I don't eat as much as i used to and i have already dropped about 4 pounds, I am petite as it is and now i am down to 121 pounds... I am not insecure nor am i trying to starve myself I work out, do yoga, and eat healthy when i do eat , I just get full off of a few bites of food, then get hungry less then an hour later. My moms side of the family have a history of thyroid problems, but i don't think that's the case.

I had the same issue, I kid you not I started a vegetarian diet because of a bet with my husband, but amazingly my stomach pain went away. I think the meat may not digest well and cause fat to irritate the stomach lining. If that was the solution alot of GI doctors will make less revenue.

Then I saw ur post and wonder if it could be that bc I have a connective tissue disorder that affects ligaments and veins.

Try checking with your general doctor for a lab test for a spirochyte called Helicobacter pylori. They are microscopic organisms that live in the intestional stomach lining and testing for them is simple finger stick for a drop of blood checking for the antibodies or a breath test. Just a thought.

I have suffered from all that you have described, and it started back in 2003, since then it has only worsened. In '03 it had gotten to the point where I could not eat without throwing it back up 95% of the time, all doctors were stumped, then my gynacologist suggested a complete hysterectomy, the additional room down there somehow caused things to back off for a couple of years ( not go away tho). Next was removal of some lymph glands, then the gall bladder, each surgery relaxed the symptoms for another temporary period, each period shorter than the last. We started with a steady regiment of gravol, then prevacid and gravol, consuming softer and softer foods in smaller and smaller amounts ( have lost 40+ lbs in past ten years). The last few years have been predominantly fluids and vitamins and it was not surprising to my family members to ask when I had last eaten and find it had been two, even three days at times; - I find I can only force myself to suffer the pain and eat when I am very very hungry. I would love to know what is wrong with me but after ten years... what I can say is that suddenly three separate doctors came up with the same pill but for three separate reasons / symptoms they wanted to treat. It was after this year's endoscopy. but that doctor ordered a 2-hour test where they basically film and time your stomach emptying, said that my stomach had only half emptied in the two hours ( it was only half of an egg salad sandwich with the crusts removed even) and he said it should have passed thru in one-half hour, one hour at the longest. Anyhow they gave me a pill called Domperidone and when I take three, 10mg, pills per day, it makes me very very hungry about 30-45 minutes after each pill, so I am eating and gaining weight again ever so slowly and although the stomach (not so much) and the intestines ( still quite noticeably called pain) still hurt - it really is quite a bit more tolerable. If you ask to try Domperidone it might help you too.

HI Everyone ! After a bout with Diverticulitis back in September 11th of 2013 at the age of 52, for my 1st time i was admitted to the hospital & put on an I.V of Flagyl/Cipro. . I was released from the hospital on September 13th with no eating restrictions. Everything was great ! Just a little chest pain which i was given a script for Tylenol to take for a few days until the pain in my upper chest subsided, Which it did Immed. While in the hospital i was put on a liquid diet for 1 day. Ok.... No problem ! The day after i was back to eating solid foods while still in the hospital. I signed my release papers and was sent on my way & with the promise that I'd schedule a colonoscopy, which i did. upon my release from the hospital on Sept. 13th 2013.. Since being released released, I have no problem with drinking Liquids but it seems i get nausious when it comes to eating solid foods.I've tried to eat small soft less greasy foods. Everything you can think of to introduce myself back to eating solid foods but nothing works. I'm nausious just about 24/7. It's now January 25 th and I'm still having a hard time eating solid foods as i get sick to my stomach with bouts of nausea. I'm taking Ginger Root & Wheatgrass to calm the stomach & have been given Promethazine to subside the nausea but so far nothing seems to work. My question is: What is going wrong here ? I don't have I.B.S. I can be having a great calm day... ,, Nerves are calm, Appetite is great, Then all of a sudden after i eat ? I get nausious. Has anyone have the same problem as it's going on 4 months now and my Dr. is just as confused as i am ..
