Ok so I have type 1 diabetes which really sucks because every day I have to jab my finger so I can test my blood sugar and every 3 days I have to stick a needle in my stomach or leg because of my insulin pump. Anyways I have mood swings a lot when my mom tells me no I go on a total RAMPAGE!!! Is this because of my diabetes or puberty?

My little girl was diagnosed at 1 year old and is 7 now. She has a lot of anger, can't handle being told no and yells a lot. The pain and reality of diabetes sucks. The blood sugar changes make it worse because you don't feel well. I am sorry you go through this. I am told that puberty makes it worse because of the hormones. Don't let anyone tell you or your mom that what you feel is not real. And ask to talk to a therapist if you need to.
