Well, I'm on month 5 now with my dizziness. The chiropracter keeps cracking my neck to get it to help. I started takeing Ecinacia (spelling?) and that seemed to really help. Sudafed and other sinus stuff did nothing. It was working. Dizziness went away for like 3-4 days. I was so happy! Then hit hard again, then lightened up for about a weeks where I hardly noticed it. Now back again. Ecinacea doesn't seem to be helping anymore either. I don't have the nasea anymore. I do have the tenderness on the back of my head though, heavy head and tired a lot. I'm starting to worry again, but have been told that if something was majorly wrong I would have worse symptoms. The doctors here are horrible! They pretty much just left me hanging. We're moving in about a month so I'll be seeing new doctors, if this keeps up. I'm wondering if it's allergy related and if I'm just really allergic to something in this state (is possible). Hopefully this will go away soon!

I am so glad that I am not the only one that has felt this way, I am 27 years old and have 2 children. The first time that I felt this way was after my 2nd child was born. I got dizzy when I went on swings with my children, I also have a hard time reading books to my children because it's hard to focus (it almost makes you feel stupid). I went to the doctor as well and they just gave me medication that really didn't do much for me. A few years later they checked my blood to see if I had thyroid problems or low iron (it came back clean) they also checked my ears (nothing), they told me it's probably viral. I thought about going to an ear, nose, and throat doctor but I never did because I thought that was the only one going thru this.

Besides the dizzy spells and the foggy head I have also had some acne, and started to feel more fatigue and even depressed. I have tried tons of products and different supplements and nothing has really changed. I never really thought that my skin and my other problems were linked.

With some research I have found that toxins in your body over time can cause fatigue, headaches, brain fog, and because skin is also an organ it can cause skin problems as well. So, right know I am using a cleansing & detoxification program to see if it improves anything. I also made an appointment with a doctor this week that will check not only allergies but toxicity levels as well. I really hope that this work because like all of you I really want to start enjoying my life once again. I will keep in touch and let you know what I find out and if it helps.

Like most of you I have also been to a handful of doctors - with no results. Someone told me about this Chiropractor that uses a holistic approach. I decided to give him a try and I am so glad that I did, after 3 days I am noticing a huge difference. I was told that having long term stress can cause your body to hold in toxins. The dizziness and foggy headiness was partially due to heavy metals in my system (specifically in my head) along with other toxins, he was also able to noticed that I had a staff and viral infection that was causing other issues. He prescribed me different herbal supplements to target each issues. I can't tell you how much I recommend this - I am starting to feel like I am able to think clearly and live my life to the fullest!

The types of stress that I have been dealing with for the past four years includes: my husband being overseas for 1 1/2 years, loosing a job, moving at least 4 times, along with financial issues over the years.

I really hope that this helps someone out!

I have almost identical symptoms to a lot of you going on 3 years now. It came on as an almost fainting feeling 3 years ago, and since then I have been on a rocking boat everyday since. I am also extremely tired, I think due to having to compensate visually. I also get a lot of head pressure, like my head is squeezing my brain. It is always worse at night when I am trying to get to sleep. I also feel my heart beating very strongly most of the time, although it does not seem to beat rapidly. I have also had every test imaginable: MRI, vestibular balance, brain stem response, hearing, blood work, echocardiogram, ecg, holter monitor, hormones, chest x-ray...and the list goes on. Have also seen a neurologist, psychologist, ent, chiropractor, naturopath, and have been on Serc and Paxil. Of course everyone is diagnosing this as an anxiety disorder. Whatever fits right. I felt fine until the day I got dizzy...of course I am anxious. I have been dizzy for 3 years and I am sick and tired of it...who wouldn't be anxious. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Only 38 years old, and 2 young kids...too young to write off my life.

Wow, there are other people out there that feel like me. I have had this Full feeling (foggy) in my head for 15yrs. It all started at work one day..I had a severe pain in my heart area..and I doubled over and thought i was having a heart attack. I went to the staff washroom and felt a little better. I then noticed after this I had a very funny feeling in my head like a fullness or dizziness. I went to my Dr. the next day and he did an ECG which came back normal..he also sent me for numerous test, all blood work and tests came back normal. I have sufferd with this and it has basically consumed my life for the last 15 yrs. I have learned to live with i,as I have had no choice. Right now I have been off work for 2 months as i am going through a bad time. I think a lot of people think you are faking it or just lazy, and that really frustrates me.Anyway I am not giving up and I hope and pray that God shows the Dr's what my problem is,and I hope that all of you here get to the bottom of your symptoms as well,

Hi,
I'm a 34 y.o. male who lives, what I feel to be, a very healthy lifestyle. About 2 weeks back I got hit with what many of you have described. I got a slight dizziness sensation and the feeling of having a hang-over almost. Just really out of it in the head. With this, I have had a lot of tiredness and fatigue. I am going through a stressful time in my life dealing with the death of a parent and getting their estate finished up. The doctor thinks I just have high anxiety and everything has led up to this point of me feeling like this. I have been on the medication for 4 days and take them before bed. I sleep great but wake up feeling the same which really depresses me. I thought maybe it was all attributed to my lack of sleep. The meds I am on are called Lorazepam. Well, it is doing what it is supposed to, but the dizzy, heavy head feeling hasn't changed. I have had that for 2 weeks now. I work at a computer as my normal job and sometimes I feel like I'm going to fall right out of my chair. I have to hold my head up sometimes when working and keep moving positions. I feel like it is something else because the dizziness is just too odd to get like this out of the blue and not have it go away after a day or so (just like all of you probably thought). It is scary to me to hear some of you say you have had this for 8 months or longer. I couldn't imagine.

A friend of mine also suggested that it may be an inner ear infection (despite my having no ear pain) or allergy related and to get checked out for that. I do have allergy issues so that could be possibly but I have never experienced anything like this before. Just like all of you, I woke up and it was just there. I don't get it. I'm going to try the sudafed I guess and see if I have any results and then go back to the doctor's to see if it's an inner ear issue. The only other thing that crossed my mind was Lyme Disease so I'm going to ask him about that as well.

Good luck to us all. Seems there are plenty of us out there and hopefully somebody figures something out to stop this!

Im a 20 year old male, and basically feel all the symptoms listed above, most specifically the 'foggy head' feeling as well as difficulty in concentrating which is a real issue for me as im trying to get a university degree. Ive had this for about a year now and can cope, but it makes my life extremely unpleasant at times. I know that this is caused by prolonged stress (being the sole carer of my disabled mother for 2 months while i was 18) but what i dont know is how to fix this. Ive kind of just copped it for the past year but its getting to the stage where im fed up, especially as the 'foggy head'/nausiated feeling is so hard to explain and no one really seems to believe me anyway. Can anyone offer any advice?

I am a 38 year lod male. I have been suffering from these symptoms (dizziness, extreme fatigue and nausea) for 3 1/2 years. I have been told several different things from sleep apnea to depression, I'm extremely frustrated about my situation. I am reading through these posts and recognize several similarities with regards to blood tests, CT scans, specialists (psychiatrist, internist (deals with internal medicine), lung specialist, cardiologist, accupuncture...) One doctor explained that after the death of my mother I was very stressed for a long time and my cortisol level stayed high which has caused an inbalance for my organs and hormones - he put me on effexor for 2 years and when that didn't work it was wellbutrin for 14 months and when that didn't work he tolf me to take Zoloft, I told him to find another guinea pig, I am tired of expirements and lack of solutions.

I have also had a numb left pinky on many occasions like other people are describing. I have gained 25 lbs in the past 3 years (I used to be very fit, played pro soccer and represented my country as well as played competitive soccer locally up until 4 years ago) and have no energy. Things change for me very quickly, I could be on my way out for the day and 10 minutes later I will turn around and go home - the overwhelming tiredness and dizziness completely takes over.

I spoke to a doctor the other day who believes my problems stem from stress and anxiety, I could probably agree because I know myself but what is the remedy? If anyone has any feedback please feel free to let me know - even email me at ***** , I would appreciate any help I can get

I had the same, and still do. I was diagnosed with Meneires Disease.

These symptoms hit me like a ton of bricks just yesterday and with my husband out of town for the week, I was really scared and thought I would have to call 911. Then, I typed in my symptoms into Google and found this place - Thank God - just knowing it wasn't something serious and fatal was a relief. But, on the flip side of that, to find out people have been dealing with this for months and sometimes years makes me really concerned. I'm not having symptoms today, just wore out and tired, but I've had an attack like this 10 years ago that lasted 2 weeks with mostly vertigo, dizziness and nausea. I checked out Menieres Disease on the web and it sounds like that might be it. I just hope I get another 10 year brake before the next attack. Good luck to everyone and I hope you get relief soon.

Hello
I found this post after doing a google search with the same topic,Since I have diabetes, high blood pressure bad circulation etc,it could be a number of things to check out,Perhaps you need a fasting blood sugar test to see if you have diabetes or hypoglycemia, did you have a blood pressure check and also circulation.I have just posted on another message board regarding the extreme fatigue, although medications can do that,it might be a combination of all those things. If I find out what it is I will let you know.I know that stress alone does not cause that.

Hello
I have many ailments and I get the same thing,I will be going to the doctor again to find out what is causing it but I have diabetes, high blood pressure and bad circulation,It could be also caused by swelling in the body and too much salty foods, however a good blood sugar fasting test and a check for hypertension would be good too, when my sugar is not under control I get that a lot, hypoglycemia is another culprit, all of those thnigs make it difficult to get out of bed besides the fact that I suffer from anemia from time to time.So if it is possible,a good check up including all of those things are in order. You might want to see if you retain fluids as well.

My husband is having all the same symptoms and tests you describe and no answers yet. He is extremely nauseated however and has been to the emergency room twice now dehydrated. Blood pressure and pulse are erratic also. This has gone on for a month and he has not been able to go to work. We see the ENT again today and Neurologist tomorrow. Has anyone found the answer yet?

My husband is having all the same symptoms and tests you describe and no answers yet. He is extremely nauseated however and has been to the emergency room twice now dehydrated. Blood pressure and pulse are erratic also..possibly anxiety. This has gone on for a month and he has not been able to go to work. He has had the sinus surgery, small cyst removed and maxillaries opened up...no change. We see the ENT again today and Neurologist tomorrow. Has anyone found the answer yet? After reading these posts I am feeling very discouraged. I don't think he can work like this. He can hardly function. We have seen the cardiologist, had MRI, numerous EKGs, CT scan, chest xray, blood work, echo cardiogram...no answers so far. He takes an anti nausea prescription all day to keep from throwing up. He has lost 25 pounds in the last month. I will keep you posted on our progress. I hope we can call it that.
