I'm 19 and am confused.A week before my period was due I started cramping like it was coming.also feeling nauseated on and off during the day and more tired than usual and having more discharge like how it was when I was pregnant before..5/07 was when I was supposed to get my period.I am always on schedule..It didn't show and I still had the cramping and nausea going on.that Monday night I took a pregnancy test and it was negative.Tuesday night my boyfriend and I had sex at like 2am.at 10am(5/12) when I woke up I was bleeding lightly.about an hour later my uterus started to hurt really badly but I wasn't bleeding a lot but it was red and thin? I guess would describe it.I went the whole rest of the day feeling like that and not filling a pad at all.the "bleeding" continued for 3more days then stopped on 5/15.my periods are thicker and I always have cramping for the first couple of days and are a whole lot heavier that last for 5-6 days.the whole time I had no blood clots, no cramps besides the pain that first day and wore one pad for a whole day.after the bleeding, the cramping started again and so did the nausea, fatigue, and "wetness".it's ony mild and I feel it in my lower back also.the nausea comes in the morning then on and off the rest of the day.it's 5-19 and I still feel this way.I took a test at planned parenthood and they said it was negative.I know this is not normal so I would like any advice or if anyone has been through this can tell me what's going on

Thank you, both of you for replying! My last known period was on 4/9 and we also had sex on 16/17 of April..I want to know if there's a possiblitly of pregnancy but also if theres anything else it could be? The cramping isn't one sided,it just feels like I'm getting ready to have my period off and on during the day..you said it could be a cyst? Would that cause all this to happen? I made an appointment for Monday so hopefully I can find some answers.planned parenthood couldn't bc that required another visit!

yes i've gotten that way with cysts but i'm telling you if you feel pregnant most the time u are, blood test are never usually wrong request one! if it hasn't been a month since the intercourse the urine test may not come out right and it should be your 1st morning urine to give a good reading..

Based on your answers, you're likely to be most fertile from Tuesday, April 20, 2010 to Sunday, April 25, 2010. That is going from a 28 day cycle so if you have unprotected sex in between these date then the is a possibility that you are pregnant, if you use a HPT with your first morning urine you will get the most accurate result as well in the given time that the test says and if use properly,

a Cyst can be cause by hormones i have got one on my left side but that is because of my pregnancy.

Quote:

The normal function of the ovaries is to produce an egg each month. During the process of ovulation, a cyst-like structure called a follicle is formed inside the ovary. The mature follicle ruptures when an egg is released during ovulation, A corpus luteum forms from the empty follicle, and if pregnancy does not occur, the corpus luteum dissolves. Sometimes, however, this process does not conclude appropriately, causing the most common type of ovarian cyst.(The corpus luteum secretes the hormones estrogen and progesterone, )

What are the Symptoms of Ovarian Cysts?

Ovarian cysts often cause no symptoms; however, when symptoms are present, ovarian cysts may cause a dull ache or a sense of fullness or pressure in the abdomen. Pain during intercourse and at other times can also indicate the presence of ovarian cysts.

Pain or pressure is caused by a number of factors, such as size, bleeding or bursting of a cyst, which irritates the abdominal tissues. Pain can also be caused when a cyst is twisted (called torsion), which can block the flow of blood to the cyst.

Other possible symptoms of ovarian cysts include delayed, irregular, or unusually painful periods. If you experience any of these symptoms, notify your doctor as soon as possible.
