The urethra is actually located just beneath the clitoral hood in most women. That is the best way I've found to describe it to someone who is unsure of where it is. It is very small and difficult to find if you don't know what you're looking for and frankly you don't have a need to find it yourself 99% of the time. Most of the time the only reason it would be important to find it is when getting a catheter or needing swabs for tests and that is a MD or nurse doing it. Don't feel bad for not knowing these things. You really have no need to unless you happen to learn about it and those that decide to try to make you feel bad about it need to close their mouths and mind their own business because I'm sure there is plenty they could be schooled on as well. Its not exactly something that is brought up or taught on a regular basis. In fact, my town spent more time teaching us how to have sex than anything which to me is backwards considering they spend the rest of the time arguing over high teenage pregnancy rates and abortions etc. Not everyone is going to have same knowledge about everything and you made yourself sound just as bad considering the urethra is not exactly a useful part of sex unless you or your partner are freaks or related to RKelly, just saying.
