This question has been bothering me for a while. A few months ago, I was researching on this topic, and came across an article that has stuck with me since. I don't remember the exact premise or setting, but I believe some scientists were conducting an experiment (on masturbation), and it turned out that one of the scientists had not masturbated or had sexual intercourse for six years. The writer of the article quipped that she had better get a vibrator, or else it would become unusable for sexual/masturbation practices and she'd "lose" it.
I'm a male of 15 years, and I've been seriously trying to stop masturbating. This article always comes to mind when I think about stopping, and it makes me a bit worried. I know it's hubris to say that I'll never masturbate again, because no one is perfect, but I'd really like to put a permanent end to it, but there are always worries in the back of my mind whenever I think about it.
My main concerns are whether or not my sexual organs (penis, testicles, etc.) will decrease in size due to lack of use, or altogether become "impotent". I really don't want to have some form of ED later in life because of what I'd done years ago.
Any responses would be appreciated. Google hasn't brought up too many results, unfortunately, but I'll still be looking around.
Thanks in advance.

My first question, why are you trying to quit?
I've never heard of the report you are speaking of and I doubt lack of sexual release could lead to any real physical difficulties.

Just for personal reasons. It's not enjoyable me, and it feels a little unfaithful (to my future spouse, that is). It might just be the ramblings of a 15 year old, but eh, I'd rather discontinue masturbation.
Hmm. Thanks. I read a topic on another page (after I posted this thread) asking if masturbation increased penis size, and the general answer was no (puberty was the main reason it changes). I figured that the same logic followed, and that sexual organs would not suffer if one is not masturbating.
Thanks for your help.
