Hi, your have absolutely nothing to worry about as no vagina is exactly the same or even the same colour all over, look at it as something better because yours is totally different to others and I don't think any guy would complain about the colour of your labia so don't be scared about it. hi you have nothing to be embarrassed about at all as its perfectly natural for your labia to change colour, it doesn't matter what the colour is whether its pink, brown, purple or black or all the shades of the rainbow your boyfriend won't care about it if he really loves you. Doesn't matter what the colour is its still the same vagina you was born with and just like any part of our bodies it goes through changes too, be prowd of it and learn to love it because your just the same as any other female really :-)

This is crazy! That people are saying its normal. I'm not sure why you think its normal and perhaps in some cases it could be age related. However, it can also be something more serious such as Addison's Disease. I have the same problem and no one knows your body better than yourself so if you feel there is something not right, please seek medical attention. In my case the doctor's have determined it is NOT normal and they are currently running blood work to check my cortisol levels because they believe in my case it could be Addison's Disease.

Im 33, never thought anything of the different pigmentation, it used to be punk now its purple...well my fiancee pointed out how much he loves my "purple people eater" lol so i went to my Dr and asked about the difference in color she asked if i had ever directly tanned the area? meaning if i had tanned naked...when i replyed no she asked about bathing suits without a liner or tan thru...again nope...then she asked If i had been sexually molested or hit or spanked in that area over n over n over again over a short period of time, then i remember when i was dating my exhusband he was into bondage n bingo...i was 16 at the time thats why i couldnt recall every remembering it being a different color as a teen only when i was a little girl...so there it was my answer...repeated trauma, tanning or a change in hormones can trigger changes in pigmentation all over our bodies...

Is this normal? I notice this change once I turned 11 maybe 12 I am now 18 and I always thought something was wrong with me but been to scared to tell anything I feel no pain or itchiness I did once I was 11 but I haven't since. Is this normal to have a purple blackish vagina lips?
