I asked my obgyn the same thing and she said it is perfectly normal...it's just hormonal changes going on in our bodies.

I have the same problem and I'm only 16. I'm still a virgin. I mean yes I have messed around with boys but not in the last 2 months. And I swear it wasn't like this then. I wash it every day. I was getting rather concerned because I remember a time when my woman area was pink nd now that I am older, it is like a pinkish/brownish color nd I am still a virgin. I know a lot of these comments are from teens, but I'm 24, never had kids, and my vagina changed color within the time frame of 3 days. It went from a normal pink to dark brown/purple. I'm not pregnant, no added hormones, and I've already completed puberty (obviously). After I freaked out about it, my vagina changed color, again, this time to a pinkish/brownish color. I'm beginning to think vaginas are like built in mood rings. ;0)

Wow. Lots of misconceptions on this board. First of all, masturbation does not make it darker. I have masturbated frequently and since I was very young, and I am still a rosy pink shade. Also, frequent sex does NOT make you loose if you're doing it properly. The pressure from sex is the result of muscles, and like any other muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. This does not work if you just lay there like a goddamn dead fish though. Squeeze the sh*t out of him and try to pull it off! You won't be able to, but you will blow his mind. Well i dont agree on the comment "the least attractive vagina is more beautiful than the most attractive penis" .To be honest, there are some not so good looking vaginas out there, as well as some very unattractive penis's. Color doesn't matter. What matters is that you are clean. One of the biggest turn off is bad smell or taste. take a second and clean up and the guys will have nothing to complain about. If they do complain, don't let them have any.They are not worth it. Also remember, nipples are differnt colors for each person, why not vaginas.

It has an firmness and plumpness to it that is reminiscent of nothing else on the planet. The lips never show, and it remains the color of the body. There is no darker gradation whatsoever.

Purple and dark colored labia gross us out. But Vaginas are like pizza, even when they are bad, they feel pretty good. Most of the time. Surgery is always an option. As is whitening cream. I am a big proponent of, if you're not happy with something - change it. Why try and get used to it. You don't see people peddling that garbage with cleft pallets?

It's completely normal. We are all gonna look different down there. Its not that its weird. Its just that some bodys are different that others. It's caused by girls maturing. Thats all so you dont have to be ashamed, but you also dont need to throw yourselfs out to people. But yeah... Its normal.
