Hello,
I'm 20 years old guy who has some non standard issue. Sometimes after urination I get a pain in urinary tract and lower stomach area. Now when I say sometimes it is rather rare- it happens to me maybe 10 to 20 times in a year. Sometimes it goes months without symptoms and sometimes it goes twice in a row.
The way it appears is when I go to urinate pain doesn't start immediately. Only after few minutes (5-10min) after finishing urination I start feeling discomfort in urinary tract and lower stomach area. The pain gets worse if I try to "tense" my muscles (like I would be forcing urine out). If I do that the pain worsens.
It goes away after approx 15-30-60 min. It is not a sharp pain. More like dull aching. The next time I go urinate, my urinary tract is still more sensitive than usual but it is very unlikely it happening for me twice in a row.
In addition 70% of a time (during the times when the pain occurs) the urine is milky and somewhat thicker than usual (harder to shake off, less liquid). It actually start like normal but when I'm about to finish it becomes very milky and thick. Other 30% of the time its very normal except after few minutes I start feeling discomfort. I must as well add that NOT ALWAYS when I have a milky urine I get pain. Sometimes it is milky and rather thick but pain doesn't appear at all. So far I didn't face symptom for a month or so.
I did a UTI test and it came clear. And I actually expected that because I didn't face symptoms at that time. I actually cant give the sample to the doctor of the actual urine which causes pain because it is one time thing. It appears for one time and then is gone for days, weeks or months.
I want to make clear it doesn't cause too much discomfort or stress and doesn't reduce the quality of life. However the only thing I am worried is that this in the future might lead to some kind of different problems such as Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrom or something like that. Is it possible? Should I be worried or am I paranoid.
I have been experiencing this for i think about 4 years. I cant say the symptoms got worse. I even think they little less frequent. I am still worried though...
I think it is important to add that doctors always say I don't drink enough liquids. They say that I have thick blood and that I should drink more water and states that it actually can cause this problem aswell. Can it be true because its hard to believe?
Help is deeply appreciated.
Thank you
