I've been itchy on my labia majora for weeks, it's almost like a rash but I don't know what could cause it. I don't have any bumps, its just like dry I guess? But I don't think it's dry skin because its itchy A LOT and it's red right now but in the middle of it, it's not red. It stings a lot, maybe because I just shaved, it's also on my bikini line, just not as itchy. I have no other symptoms, and my period is just now ending. About 2 months ago, I had sex with two different guys, one was stupid and didn't use protection but I honestly do not think he has anything at all. Considering we were friends, I'm sure he'd say so. Then the other guy did use protection, and he's the last guy I've been with. So I doubt it's an sti/std. And a few days after, I got a uti but its gone now(used antibiotics). What could this be? I tried using vagisil cream twice but the itch contiuned, and I used a rash cream/ointment which worked better than the vagisil but I don't know. Help?

Is it a yeast infection caused by your antibiotics for UTI? Antibiotics, by definition, are supposed to kill bacteria. But those antibiotics, while doing their job on one part of your body, can cause problems elsewhere: They could be destroying “good bacteria” in your vagina — bacteria that help to keep the body's natural yeast population in check. When the good bacteria are destroyed, yeast can multiply and potentially cause a yeast infection. When that happens, one may experience the well known symptoms of a yeast infection: thick white discharge and burning and itching. That's why some patients would rather choose herbal medicine such as Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill to eliminate urinary tract infection, cuz herbs are more natural and can get disease treated without any side-effects.

Well, avoid a yeast infection that is caused by antibiotics is to eat yogurt, at least one cup a day while you are taking the antibiotics. This is the best long-term solution. I suggest you go to your doctor and get a definite test.

Hi I'm 13, my labia sticks together and itches. I'm not sure if it's a yeast infection, but I just think it itches because it sticks. Is this true?? Help!!!
