Hi, I've had a mild pelvic pain a pressure like on my bladder, so I need to pee frequently. There's no burning sensation when i pee but a aching sensation in the vaginal area. It all triggered when I had sex with my boyfriend. I'm not sure if it's just a stress caused to my vagina or it's a STD's. I've had UTI before and it definitely does not feel like a UTI. I will go get tested if the pain won't go away.

Have you ever spoken to a Dr. about Interstitial Cystitis. I have been dealing with the same issues since I was about 13. I am 34 now. I was diagnosised about 3 years ago. It took a long time to find the right doctor who told me about this condition I had never heard of. There is help for it. I still have bad flares, but much less often and I know what to do for them. Good luck!

I think I have this. What are you doing to help keep the bladder inflammation to a minimal? I read where avoiding certain foods help.

Hi girls this is in relation to everyone's posts! I have had this now for about two years! Doctors told me it was a track infection! It persisted but I have found my own solution! WATER when the pain begins I drink about two and a half pints of water. 10 minutes later the pain begins to disappear! The problem with this is that you need too pee a lot after. I think it would be best if you drank pints of water throughout the day! But sometimes I don't have the time! I hope this helps you guys!! Xxx

Hello---I have all of the above mentioned symptoms.  I am thinking of the pudental nerve.  I researched and many symptoms match.  I have had pelvic floor physical therapy, it has helped . I would suggest asking your doctor about pt.

I too have experienced so much of what you have described. The peeing in the bath for me is the most comforting thing to do whilst I drink plenty of water and cranberry. In addition to your symptons I have had surgery - ureathral dilation - widening of the ureathra- after two bladder investigations and an ultra sound, all of which revealed nothing! I currently have a retrun of the problem after being poorly with labrynitis and a lot of stress at work. I haven't had a bout for over a year! As I try to always look for answers I considered the effect of constipation, as this bout was definitely aggravated by too much bed rest and constipating drugs to combat my illness. What's so very, very , very frustrating is that now its the urinary problems that are getting me down. I can't improve things. I seem to be on the mend one day and then back with the discomfort the next. Sorry no real support here only moral. Surely with so many of us suffering it must be a call for some serious medical research!!

I've been experiencing this same exact pain since August 2012. I've been treated with 4 different kinds of anti-biotics and had samples of urine sent off to be tested. They came back clear. I've had pain in my kidneys, so the doctors have been treating it as though it were a UTI, however the extreme and prolonged doses of the antibiotics they have given me, haven't shifted it. I don't believe I have an STI/STD as I lost my virginity last year, to my boyfriend who only a few months beforehand had been checked for everything and was not sexually active again until we got together. It's my next port of call though. What I would say is that peeing after sex does help lessen the pain and how frequently an attack of it occurs, and i've noticed that if you work to relax your lower stomach/bladder area it does virtually stop the pain. If you think about it, that area tends to be the first part of the body that tenses up when you're stressed, so maybe it's linked to that?

These are just my ideass/experiences of this. It's nice to know i'm not the only baffled one out there! Good luck to everyone!
