Any suggestions on managing increased fatigue from walk/running. Am up to 6 miles and just about crashed and burned the first week after the 5 mile mark and the again at the 6 mile. Do great on Saturday my distance training day, but Sunday and beyond is very difficult getting any energy to go. Am thinking it is something to do with not eating right. Don't know if I'm right or wrong.
Am following the guaifenesin protocol of Dr. St. Amand. Am trying to be aware of sugars. This last week had half a Snickers Marathon energy bar at the 3 mile mark and felt better.
Am open to any advice. The heat generated makes the muscles feel so much better that I plan to keep this training for a half marathon, just need to figure out what will help with the overwhelming fatigue.
