my husband lost like 20lbs with out trying and he has a cold sore plus he's tired and not sleeping could it be thyroid,flu?

This sounds very serious because losing weight is never without a reason except if you are trying to lose weight on purpose.
How long does he have this symptoms? At first I would think it is a flue but you can't really know until you visit a doctor.
Since it has been a while from your last visit and posting this question now I am curious to discover what has happen at the end?
Was it just flue or maybe something serious?
