I am male, 25. About 18 months ago I started having weird feelings in my left side upper abdomen, just below the tip of the ribcage. Not pain, but definitely a cause of discomfort, especially when running. I also rarely experience sharp stabs of pain in that area or the side. Sometimes running or swimming also leads to pain in the lower left abdomen.

About 21 months ago I anally inserted a maybe 10 inch hard dildo. I don't remember pain at the time, and I did take it slow, and I didn't do it for very long, because I didn't find it satisfying. However, I do remember having some constipation in the 2 weeks following. After that everything went back to normal for a time.

Is it likely that these things are connected? And if so, what complications am I experiencing? Not knowing what is wrong with me has been rather frustrating.
