I am sixteen and my boyfriend is seventeen. We have been dating for a month and a half but have been seeing each other before that. I had sex for the first time with him on the 18th of november and today is the 30th. It didnt go for long and I dont think he came in me plus I was at the end of my periods so I doubt that I could be pregnant from that time but we had unprotected sex on the weekend, the 25th and 26th and they were my most fertile days, I actually have no clue if he came in me or not, I was nervous and I am not experienced in this kind of stuff, but I know there is such thing as pre cum and things like that. But what are the chances of being pregnant on my most fertile days, having unprotected sex but no ejaculation? Are the chances still very very high with just pre cum with me being so fertile? I also had the cervical mucus (discharge) for about two or three days after the sex but it was sometimes 'yellowy' in colour and i'm unsure as to wether it is from the whole pregnancy theory or thrush because I am not pretty certain that I have thrush, I am so confused and I really need help and insight from more older, mature people who know what they are on about! Thanks guys :)

Hi Bree,

There is a chance of getting pregnant at the end of your period.  It all depends upon when you ovulate.

Normally, you'd ovulate between about days 11-16 (28 day cycle).  Sperm can survive up to about 5 days.  If you had sex around day 6 and ovulate early, there is a chance.

When everything is perfect, the odds are about 1 in 5.

If he didn't ejaculate, the odds are much lower, but there is always a chance.  Precum, if he hasn't yet ejaculated, is considered not to contain sperm.

You may want to consider using protection.  Your chances of pregnancy are lower BEFORE your period than just after it.

Hope it helps.

Hi Bla,

There's a chance. With ANY sexual contact there's a chance of pregnancy.

If you ever put a condom on backwards, throw it out. Sperm will die if it dries, it wouldn't die in 2-3 seconds though.

Still, chances sound unlikely but we can't predict. There are a lot of variables.
