I got the Geocaching for Dummies book for my bday in Dec. I asked if I was getting a GPS for Christmas. Mrs. TB thought the GPS Forerunner would work. :umno: Looks good; but, IM trianing = zero free time.

Could someone please explain to me the value of GPS anything if used in a location you're really familiar with, ie the running possibilities of your own neighborhood? Thank you.

I just got a Garmin Forerunner. It takes all the calculating out of running. At a glance I can tell how far I've gone and my pace and everything is logged for me automatically.
I guess it helps those of us who are lazy? :shrug:
