Taylor, the cause of that could be a kidney problem, although I am somewhat baffled as to why your doctor didn't tell you what the issues were. I'm not quite sure why you wouldn't know anything beyond having too much protein in your urine, but anyway, that is one possible cause. Is your doctor going to be doing anything else for treatment? Have you talked to your doctor about anything else? Please let me know! THanks.

Hi,
High protein levels in the urine usually indicate problem with kidneys and filtering of the blood. Everybody passes a small amount of proteins with their urine but higher numbers indicate that your kidneys are not functioning very well or some other part of your urinary system is malfunctioning. How long have you been having this? Has doctor suggested any kind of treatment when you were diagnosed with this condition? There is a condition that might cause this problem. It is called glomerulonephritis. You can mention this to your doctor next time you see him.
I know that some people have problems with protein in the urine and high blood pressure. Do you have problems with your blood pressure?
