Hi. I`m have always been perfectly healthy, but recently I have started to wake up in the middle of night feeling all cold and clammy. My night clothes are all wet. What to do about night sweats? Can`t stand it any more. Any suggestions? Am I sick (I have no fever), or under stress or something? Is that a sleep disorder?

Hi. I have night sweats too. Night sweats can be caused by many reasons, such as fever, diabetes, anemia, epilepsy, strokes, migraine, head injury, sleep apnea, etc… Night sweats are not sleep disorder, but they are irritating. What to do, you must find out what is the cause of your night sweats. I made some lifestyle changes - I quit smoking, eating spicy foods. I still sweat, but less than before. I keep my bedroom cool, and I always shower with cold water before I go to bed. Cold drinks are also helpful.
