I have undergone 2 hysterectomies in the 4 weeks and have just started chemo for Stage I uterine LMS.

Last week I started on Gemzar (Gemcitabine) and today I start on Taxotere (Docetaxel). I will be doing 4 weeks of this. My doctor may start me on another 4 weeks of a drug called Adriamycin which has a lot of side effects damaging the heart and it really scares me. Radiation is also being considered during or after chemo treatment is complete.

My surgical path report was clean. Cat scans for metatastisis were also clean. No signs of sarcoma.

I would like to know what treatments other LMS patients are undergoing that are the same as my treatment as well as learning of other treatment options that I am unaware of.
