I have the same problem, when I swallow liquids ane food it goes down the right side of my throat, comes back up and I automatically have yo swallow It back down after a while it will go away untill the next time I eat or drink please help me I can't live my life I just want to be able to eat normaly <3

I have a soy allergy, When I got tested for allergies, I was never tested for soy. I have to be soy free all the time or if I have a bit everything is affected. As well as Egg allergy I got at the same time as the soy..

I have been having the same situation lately. My throat was scoped a few weeks ago and the Dr said my esophagus was severely inflamed causing the problem. He gave me some medicine to take twice a day and I stopped taking. Every time I took it felt like the pill was sticking and not going down.
Tried salt water but no use.
Any other suggestions?

I have been searching the web for the last 45 minutes and read everything from asthma to cancer. As soon as I read your comment about it being an allergy to protein a light bulb went off in my head. I am allergic to many raw thin-skinned fruits and certain nuts. Since the lump appeared as I was finishing an especially large handful of pistachios (which I've never been allergic to before) I realized that this new batch of nuts must be causing a slight anaphylactic shock. Thank you for the most obvious cause for what is happening to me right now. I will now put my Epi-Pen next to me and hope it goes down before it gets too bad.

Hi, I to have had the same problem of something stuck in my throat . I had a scope done a few weeks ago and it still feels like something is stuck . It never went away . The Dr stretched my esophagus but it is no better, I have been on 2 different prescriptions for acid reflux but its not working. I am going out of my mind .

I don't think its tonsils. I also had a barium swallow done a few weeks ago and they didn't find anything. I am going back to my family Dr tomorrow to get them to do an ultra sound or refer me to a Endorinologist to ck my thyroid. I thought my thyroid was ck when I had blood work done a few months ago. Some people say to get an ultra sound done that if there is something wrong with your thyroid it will see it.
