Its a terrible feeling, like I have rope wrapped around my neck 24/7 . Thats not normal , something is going on.

Mine ended up being a severe atypical case of acid reflux. Terrible!! PPI reflux Meds don't help everyone and don't fix the underlying issue with GERD, reflux. I am getting anti-reflux surgery. Good luck!! Don't stop fighting and searching for the answer and treatment. It took me 6yrs!!

They put me on 2 seperate meds to try for acid reflux but it didn't work, I really think its not acid related but what do I know , I am not a DR. Thou you do know you own body and how it feels. I hope its nothing serious . Maybe a thyroid issue, My dad and 2 brothers are both on thyroid meds . Hopefully I can solve this problem soon as I am going out of my mind with worry . Keep me posted on how you make out. :)

Hey! Im 21 almost 22. And i typically get tonsil stones but whenever i get them theyre easily removed and at times will get swallowed. No problem. As of two weeks ago, ive had this feeling right where my throat and my tongue begin in the back, like theres a piece of hair or some sort of bug stuck there. I assumed if it was one of those drinking water or eating food would release it and allow it to go down. BUt its still there and its going on two weeks now. Ive put Qtips and my owl finger back there to move around anything that may be lodged. But nothing. The feeling is still present. There is no pain present. No bleeding. No trouble Swallowing. Just an iritating feeling of something sticking there.

I also live with this daily .I now live on Sustagen as I cannot tolerate the feeling .Mine has been diagnosed as esophagus motility disorder

I would not recommend cold water. Cold watet further constricts the throat, which is not helpful if you are indeed having a milf allergic reaction. I would recommend room temperature bottled water.

Go to the dentist it could be TMJ; your joint in your jaw can cause these kinds of problems. Ask yourself these questions: Stuffy ears, trouble swallowing, headaches, jaw pain, acid reflex, feeling dizzy, low energy, etc. All you might need is a night guard which has a bumper on the front of the retainer that prevents you from grinding your back teeth.

My lymph node in the right side of my neck is swollen, and when I eat I feel as if food stays in my throat. I have been feeling this for about four months, not sure if it's GERD. I have not been able to see a doctor. Can anyone help?
