Hi meme, chlamydia is a bacterial infection. Once it's treated, you do not have the bacteria in your body any longer. The only issue is that you CAN be reinfected with it so bear that in mind, okay? Were you recently treated with this or were you concerned about it for someone else?

I was told i had it back in 2008 and they gave me 4 big *ss pills to take and it would leave your body but that if you keep having un protected sex that there is 50% of a chance you could possibly get it again. your just pron to them after you get it the first time. Its nothing really bad but you do want to catch it while you still can.

Yeah, that's exactly it. You are prone to it only because you've had it before, although that's just because it's a bacterial infection. Are you the first person who posted or are you a different person posting? :)

It goes away after you take the meds they prescribe to you. After you have taken all the required doses it is completey gone and it wont come back unless you have unprotected sex with an infected person.. i was in the same situation. You will be fine

Chlamydia is a bacterial infection and can be completely eliminated from your body with antibiotics. It doesn't stay at all.
