This is normal. Completely normal. It's part of your cycle. When you aren't ovulating, or get closer to it, your body releases a whitish discharge from the vagina. Also, if you're on birth control pills, this is a common discharge you get all month because it's a way of the pill blocking sperm to cervix and possibly entering to fertilize an egg if one was accidentally released. It's called "infertile mucus", and it means you currently are not fertile.

So i was having the same problem about 2 months ago, and i'm only 16. I went to see my doctor and he gave me these tablets which you insert inside of you twice a day for 10 days they are called fasigyn vt. They worked... but yesterday it came back. I realized that right before i started getting this discharge I had sex, and it was with the same person. I'm starting to think it might be the sex or maybe its him... I'm not sure. if anyone has any way of explaining this to me, it would be very helpful. Please don't tell me I'm too young and that i'm going to end up on 16 and pregnant, just try to give me an answer because i really need to know. And, it wasn't until this second time that I thought it could have something to do with sex. But the tablets my doctor gave me really worked, and im using them again.

Ii Have Had The Same. But I Didn't Find It Until I Let My Boyfriend Finger Me The Other Night. It Goes Away When I Get Wet But When I'm Not Wet You Can See It. It Doesn't Actually Come Out Of Me It Just Sits In There, And It Disgust Me. I Really Need To Get Rid Of It. Maybe Warm Water Up There Could Help,?

Use tea tre essence on a panty liner... but before that try to scoop out the excess. Did that last night and today free of discharge. So tea tree does help.... I think white vinegar and soda bicarbonate are things I haven't tried but are really worth a try. Good Luck girls

Hey ladies,
I too have been having this problem, and it totally freaked me out because i have had this problem for a few months now and had no clue what was wrong. But see the weird thing is, is that mine only happens like 2 times a week and than its gone. And sometimes its really moist and other times i would see a chunk on my underwear, and this is really embarrassing to talk about but idk what it is, and my doctor isnt a big help because she dosent know what im talking about. But there was also this one time (it only happened once) but i went to go to the bathroom and i just looked down to see if everything was fine and i saw a chunk just hanging and it was soo gross, but could it mean im pregnant, cuz me and my fiancée dont use protection, but i also have an irregular period, and when i took a test it came back negative so i have no clue whats wrong. Please help, im only 20 i have no clue if this is normal. :-)

I have been following this forum and hoping someone would come up with an idea as to what this is. I have been going through it for almost a year. In september my physician told me it looked like BV and gave me flagyl. That didn't work and I knew it wasnt BV, I had that before and it stinks. The only symptom I have is the crazy, sticky, thick white discharge.
Today I went to a specialist and she was very sympathetic and said I have a reason to be fed up and that it did not look normal. She said it looked more bacterial related and not a fungus or virus. She explained that sometimes the bacteria in our vaginas get out of whack and become resistent to the usual "fixes" (like flagyl). She prescribed a different kind of antibiotic called Clindamycin and said to come back in three weeks if everything was not back to "normal". She also did swabs and sent everything off to the labs. So I will know next week if anything else unusual comes back. I was already tested for STD's and everything and my pap cambe back normal so we will see what this lab comes back with.
I promise to post my results using this medication. I started it this morning and will be on it for 7 days. I am hoping nothing terrible comes back with the labs and I will post an update on that as well next week. Hopefully this will help some other poor girl who has been suffering like me.

I have had the same lumpy discharge for the last week. It gets really itchy sometimes, but the irritation and discharge goes after a wash with really warm water. but comes back less the next day.

yea i have the same exact problem.. i was researching and found out that it is caused by cytolytic vaginosis which occurs when too much lactobacilli (white discharge) is present. this was like a miracle when i found out about it. it finally had a name! the treatment is to do a sitz bath.. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not

hi all. I have been having the same icky spit ball discharge too for about 2 weeks.I noticed it after using replens. never had an infection in my 43 years and it really scared me. But after reading about replens I feel sure that is what is causing it. Google says that it and other vaginal moisturizers causes the vagina walls to exfoliate and that the clumps are actually dead skin cells. If any of you are using replens or other vaginal moisturizers then please look into it,it could save you a lot of worry.I am now back to normal!!!

I am have this problem now with the thick white clumpy discharge that looks like old toilet paper. In fact, I thought it was until more kept coming out even when I stick my finger in and wipe along walls, stuff would come out. Also my vaginal opening seemed to have been closed some to. It was kind of difficult to insert my finger. Anyway, I think this may be occurring because of Metronidozole (Bacterial infection cream). I went to the Gyn about a month ago because of a slight odor, the doc said bacterial infection and gave me the cream, the same day I started taking it, I started my cycle and was advised to continue taking it. After the 10 days of my period :-( , which is "normal" for me, I noticed BLACK chunks coming out. kind of looked like coffee grinds, about 2 weeks later that finally stopped, but I had odor again, so I started using the remainder bacterial med's cause I figured it was affected because of my heavy period. Now, I have the thick white clumpy discharge that looks like old toilet paper. Medical Background: I have Uterine Fibroids that are HUGE that has made me anemic, 6 months ago I had the Gastric Bypass, which led to Vitamin B and D deficiencies, so now I'm taking TONS of vitamins. Does anyone see a resemblance with their situation?

I have had the same problem no itching , no burning or anything like that, I originally thought it was a yeast infection so i went to my doctor, she told me i was fine. I notice that i only seem to have that problem like about a week before i start my menstrual cycle, and then afterwards it goes away. So i dont really know whats up with that but it doesnt really smell and it doesnt really do anything, its just gross and kinda annoying, embarrashing. Seem to be fairly common apparently. Im not overly concerned about it and mines not that bad.
