I am so glad i found this thread.  I have the same type of wet paper type mucus, however mine is never discharged, it's inside.  I know this may seem a little gross and TMI, but I have been trying to concieve, and so I check my cervical mucus all the time (helps to figure out where in your cycle you are).  So the paper like gross stuff is what I find, but it is not discharded from my body, anyone else experiance this?  After reading some other posts, I am begining to wonder if it is because I have PCOS and have been taking medication for it.  The meds are suppose to "fix" my hormone levels.  I would love to know if anyone gets a firm diagnosis.

omg!!! I am 37never even had a yeast infection... I used replens las week for the 1st time then a couple of days later I had that same "wet toilet paper lool" discharged.... I dod not make the link but I asked a pharmacist and he disagreed... now that I read urs... I am sure it is that!!!! I used it again yesterday without knowing and now I regret.... did u just stop using it and all went back to normal??

this is gross i have the same white toilet paper looking discharge i have no clue except for yeast ...i will go to the doc later for now i will try taking a bath in Epsom salt and drinking lots of cranberry ...this has been on and off and it is just not attractive i really wish there was an over the counter   medicine so the question remains ...infection or over active hormones ????

I have had this issue for atleast 6 years. I have had 2 long term serious boyfriends where I have experienced this same issue with both.

*Discharge: Consistantly thick & creamy, frequently white and chunky (enough to stick finger inside my vagina and come out with chunks all over my finger)

*Odor & Taste: Bitter and slightly sour

*Complications: I get wet during sex but I always end up becoming dry. If I continue through with sex, it creates friction and intercourse burns. My vagina will swell up especially if we are having hard sex. By this time I cannot orgasm because of pain/aggravation. If my man cums inside of me, I go to the bathroom afterwards to clean my vagina out and urination burns. VERY painful.

I am not on birth control so this is not the cause. I have only had sex with 2 people. I have been checked for all STD's and my results were negative. I have had UTI's and yeast infections in the past and were cured after taking medication but I am still left with this discharge issue which leads to huge sex issues. I WEAR COTTON UNDERWEAR as much as possible, try to wear looser fitting shorts/pants and I am going to try baking soda inserts and maybe tree tea oil. I will post on here my updates asap.

Any other women who experience this I FEEL FOR YOU. I have delt with this for too too long and am dying for a remedy. My boyfriend suffers as well because after all the stress this issue brings on me, I dont look forward to sex as much as I used too. I dread the pain and the let down. I do not feel as sexy as I used to before I had this problem. If anyone has any input please share I need help :(

 Eat yogurt for yeast ladies, its cheaper and works better than doctors/meds, as for the discharge; mine is odorless/tastless, no irrtation or itching, its just there so i just wash inside real good?

ok so ive had this for the past few weeks too. white. dry. clumpy discharge with no pain no itch no smell. My boyfriend is also really grossed out because when we have sex its all over the condom and bed, i have no idea what it is, and i havent been to my doctor yet because before i thought it was just because i was getting my period but now my period is gone 5 days ago and i still have it. Im wondering if i can use a douche to make it go away? im going to buy one tomorrow and see what happens because im really fed up with this and i dont want to try yeast pills now just because most of the threads said it didnt work.

I agree with the hormonal thought...I have been concerned with some of the same symptoms, especially the discharge and I have to look at my calander to see what day of my cycle I notice the change on. If it is day 14, 15 somewhere around there, it is my understanding that the ovulation process produces alot of these symptoms including the discharge.

Hello everyone, I recently have had this problem for the first time (unusual discharge with no smell or any other sensations). I am 21 and on birth control, and have never had any kind of yeast infection or any other issues down there. I didn't even know this was going on (It happened over night) until I went to have sex with my boyfriend who jumped up in a panic all freaked out. How embarassing! Especially since I had no idea what was going on at all, I have had absolutely no pain or itching. The next day I ended up having a hysterical break down in front of him because I didn't want to tell anyone, so of course he went to tell his Mother anyway because he was worried for me. I know this will sound completely absurd, but it actually is working. The idea really freaked me out at first but I was willing to do anything to get rid of this annoying problem. Use a betadine douche once a day, you can look up the recipe online (it is just water with the betadine mixed in). My boyfriends Mother went to talk to the pharmacist when she bought it, so I know that it will not hurt you. I have only had this issue for 3 days, and used the douche the last 2 and it is already almost gone! I wish I knew what was causing it, maybe it is a hormone imbalance or something. Hopefully this helps someone, it is nice to know that I am not going through this alone.

My doctor told me that the treatment of a bacterial infection with metronidazole can make yeast multiply and flourish causing a clumpy, cottage cheese like discharge. you probably need treatment for a yeast infection on top of your current treatment. Time to call the doc back..

Hun, it's a yeast infection, and it will come back, outs just a matter of time. Those clumps are chunks of yeast build up that will eventually feed bacteria and give you a bacterial infection on top of what you have now. Even if your symptoms go away, they will be back, with a vengeance.
