I'm 17-years-old. And twice in the past week I have been in the middle of a normal activity and...BAM! It hits. I begin to have a terrible pain in my stomach and then dry heave. Like once I was in the shower and it hit all the sudden. My stomach had a huge pain, just all over, and I began to dry heave, then I had to immediately jump out of the shower and vomit. The vomit was odd because it didn't burn, like bile, it wasn't thick like phlegm would be expected to be, and it was a clearish-white color. It was just sudden, I was fine one second and the next it was horrible. And every since the second episode I have been having stabbing pains in my stomach off and on, at random sudden times. My cousin said it might be stress, but I'm not so sure. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on, it's beginning to be a pain in the rear.
I am making a wild guess here concerning your mystery illness. If you are a sushi lover, you may be infected with the larval roundworm of the genus Anisakis that are often found in raw or undercooked salt-water fish. This illness is increasingly common in the western world as more and more westerners are adopting the Japanese habit of eating raw fish. The symptoms are sudden stomach or intestinal pain, nausea and vomiting. I suggest visiting a gastroenterologist.
